Agmin ArtworkThis is a featured page

This page will describe Agmin art forms, not show the art, just describe the technique. If you'd like to view some artwork go to Agmin
Relics. The Agmin have myriad ways of sculpting, carving, painting, drawing, writing, and building. Below are instructions and tips on how to carve in the Agmin style, known as Juki [Pronounced: Joo-kee].

Pottery

TECHNIQUE
  • The designs always consist of nature-based
things (flowers, trees, etcetera) and every piece has a vine insignia, the trademark of Juki (see Agmin Relics for the insignia)
  • Pieces are always glazed and/or with dull,
earthy colors (dark crimson, dark green, dull blue, etcetera).
  • Jagged designs cannot be included because it is
associated with Dark Luck and The Dark Nine.
  • Red clay is always used because it is said to suck
the Dark Luck out of anything it touches, while white clay is said to conduct and use it. White clay can only be used for reliefs, and other raised designs on red clay.
TIPS
include that.
  • If you belong to a sect, you might want to add
your deity's name or something that can connect to him or her.
  • Wavy designs are nice too, they show the flow of
water and wind.
  • Full moons are simple and they are excellent to
appease the gods and goddesses.
  • Symettry is nice, but not preferred. Nothing is
perfect so pots should need to be either.
