Mahju [Pronounced: Ma-joo] is the god of Fear and Tyranny. He drifts around as a cloud of shadow. He drifts around, and when Mahju finds a victim, he constricts them. While he is doing so, Mahju causes feelings of fear to
enter their mind. He can split into innumerable clouds, therefore he can cause fear at many different times. Other than the analogous form of a black cloud (invisible to the living) he also can take the form of a snake. Normally a brightly colored one; or a python. Mahju will stalk the victim he wants to cause fear in until there is an opportune time. When that time occurs, he leaps in as the blakc cloud. Mahju normally drifts along meaninglessly during the daytime, because the moonlight will allow him to become visible.

As far as tyranny goes, Mahju simply gets enjoyment out of watching tyrants and therefore blesses them. This
blessing appoints the Mōn as that person's "guard" against those who worship the good deities. Due to this, Mahju has come to represent tyranny.
