Prayer Songs & Hymns

Sometimes, it is possible to appease a deity through a song or a chant. You can make up your own

songs if you like, but a horde of them were found, recorded. They can be put to music, but were meant for vocal sounds only. Some are devoted to one god or goddess, some are meant for appeasement of all; and some have nothing to do with any deities. Songs and hymns are important for holidays too.

Oh mighty, fly on open wings
Stride on feral legs!
Judge your subjects
With piercing, round, eyes.

Fly on free wings
Glide in open air!
Hiss at opposing forces
Only to steal their shares.

Mighty, oh mighty, Obvyx hope we do please.

With your holy air!

You watch upon us
Like tiny bugs.
We skitter around
Worshipping you.

We seek to please
Your mighty greatness.
We sing to you
In hopes of love.

But mighty Myhr,
You are not jovial.
Your forests are downed
Your land is desecrated.

But we, you great followers!
Will seek to save it.
We stand beneath you
At the midnight hour.

We stand beside you
During daylight hours.
We hold onto you
Howling at night.

Great queen of the wild,
Will you spare us the plight?
The plight that follows
Your disgruntlement.

~Slight Rustle~

The wind whispers
In morning air.
Crisp with dew
Blowing branches, like flowing hair.

The water flows
Peace and serenity.
The leaves fall
And turn vibrant colors.

And then-
The trees fall.
The branches snap.
The sky darkens with polluted smog.

Myhr is weakened,
To the brink of death.
Disgruntled, depressed.
They move in to kill the rest.

Years go by,
And finally,
Myhr's creation of beautiful magnificence
Falls.

~Song of Beauty & Destruction~

The cult of Agmin'on created a style of poetry around 1980. Each poem has six lines, the first line has six syllables and the last has one. Each line between has a descending number of syllables. Below are some of them.
